How Was My Day? March 22, 2022

Heloooo!

Sorry it took so long for me to post again, I have a lot to report on!

Remember that math test I was so worried about? I got 100 on it! Let’s have a party (you’re all invited don’t worry).

How was your St. Patrick's Day if you celebrate? Did you have soda bread and corned beef or are you a faker... (jk sorry). 

Ramadan is coming up soon! If you observe, are you ready for fasting? Ik my friend is worried her stomach will make loud noises in the middle of class, and that's valid.

Aaaaand next week is my mom’s birthday and I don’t have a present yet. Procrastinator, much? I’ve been thinking about it all month.

Soon I’ll post something about my experience in the high school application process. It’s been on my mind recently and I couldn’t find anything online about it when I was applying to other high schools so…

Ah okay so I’ve joined the wait list for an account on ao3. When I get in I am def going to read Permanent (a ziam fic, lol) and Tired Tired Sea. I’m so excited but at the same time I feel like such a “teenage girl” stereotype with the fandoms I’m in. Limelight? Directioner? Swiftie? Literal dystopian YA novels and Harry Potter? Get out. Who have I become? (jk, but at the same time not…)

If you have any ao3 ziam/larry fic recs please lmk! I’m always looking. (Again, seriously, just because I like reading fanfics about these ships does NOT mean I ship them irl. If the ships were real, I would support them, but since there is no proof from the artists themselves I won’t disrespect them like that.)

This is kind of random, but has anyone seen Eternals? If you have omg Ikaris is so cuteeeee. And the Drakkari (druig/makkari) ship is adorable. I’ve been watching edits for hours jskskh. While I’m on the topic of ships- Wesper is way too good not to mention. They deserved all the screen time in Shadow and Bone. (okay, maybe not all. Kaz/Inej is great as well. Is that ship name Kanej? I think so but I’m not sure.)

I am so done with school at this point. Every day feels like the same thing. I’m waiting for dumb standardized tests after April break because there’s no real work then. Really, though, I’m bored. 

Funny story, this kid (call him marty) in my science class literally screamed at me for beating him in blooket. We were playing battle royale and I took his last life (hahaha) and he got so mad. Every round after that he’s like “is all you do go home and study blooket, Rache?” and “beat Rache, come on (other kid) make Rache lose”. It was ridiculous, and I didn’t wind up winning. Still, lol. I was mildly amused. (hehe 18th century vocab but no Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen is gooood go read it)
